The Sandblast Hose is specially designed for the transfer of highly abrasive materials in sandblasting applications. 1. Construction

• Inner Tube: The inner tube is made from natural rubber (NR) or a highly abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber compound. This material is designed to handle the aggressive abrasion caused by sand, grit, and other blasting materials, preventing the hose from wearing out prematurely.
• Reinforcement: The hose is reinforced with high-tensile synthetic textile plies. This reinforcement provides structural support, preventing the hose from kinking or collapsing under the pressure of the abrasive materials.
• Outer Cover: The outer cover is made from weather- and abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber. It protects the hose from external damage caused by the rough environment of sandblasting operations, including scuffs, cuts, and weathering.

2. Standard Sizes

• Inner Diameter: Available in sizes ranging from 1/2 inch (13mm) to 3 inches (76mm), depending on the specific sandblasting application and flow rate requirements.
• Length: Standard lengths range from 10 to 40 meters, with custom lengths available based on operational needs.

3. Working Pressure

• The hose is designed for medium- to high-pressure applications, with working pressures typically ranging from 10 to 15 bars (145 to 217 psi), depending on the hose size and construction.
• Burst Pressure: The hose can withstand burst pressures up to 60 bars (870 psi), ensuring safety and reliability in demanding sandblasting operations.

4. Abrasion Resistance

• The inner tube is highly abrasion-resistant, with a wear-resistant rating typically measured in millimeters of abrasion loss. This ensures the hose can handle repeated impacts of abrasive materials without significant wear.
• The outer cover is also designed to withstand rough handling and abrasion from external elements, providing protection during use and extending the hose’s lifespan.

5. Temperature Range

• The hose is capable of operating in temperatures from -20°C to 80°C (-4°F to 176°F), making it suitable for various climates and working conditions.

8. End Fittings

• The hose can be fitted with specialized sandblast couplings, quick-connect fittings, or clamp fittings for secure attachment to sandblasting equipment. These fittings are typically made from abrasion-resistant metals, such as hardened steel, to withstand the rigors of blasting operations.
